Next project please?
Suppose to be inspired by Andy Goldsworthy whom works with natural installations.
A personal piece about physical disfiguration shown on a tree by sawing the bark to represent something permanent and outside of my control, and trying to fix what's already shattered with bloodstained medical bandages.
POAD Project
Self Portrait
I don't like attention
Painted by other people, I do people too many favors. I can't say no.
But sometimes, through these relationships I can shine too.
Including two other related projects, I created two performance pieces which I have no photographs or evidence.
Blindfolded
One assignment was to create a self portrait with the audienec blindfolded, forcing us to use the other senses. I decided to use trust, and I let people have a pair of scissors and some of my hair (which they did not know) and have the opportunity to cut it off trusting their own judgement (and me trusting them). Five out of twenty cut my hair.
Waterballons
The next project was the same concept, except it was visual. I made waterballons written with different phrases that go through my mind when making descions "Don't fuck up!" and I instructed my peers to take one and shout their phrase at the same time as the throw it at a taped up target on a brick wall. At the last minute, I sat infront of the tape so essentially I was the target.

Sick Sunshine
It's the begining of spring and I'm sick. I can't breathe through my nose and it's quite frustrating :|
But at least the weather's getting warmer, sorta.
Meanwhile
I just recently made a bet with some friends, and I really hope it doesn't backfire on me...
